About the role:
You will be responsible for managing the challenge of handling our largest development projects that span multiple development groups and technical structures. You will coach on the scrum processes, organize and facilitate all scrum ceremonies. You know the value of helping remove roadblocks, tracking key performance metrics and making them visible to the teams.
Guiding and coaching the team to self-organization, cross-functionality and higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
Continuously improve process and development.
Removing impediments for the team or directing impediments to appropriate owners for quick resolution.
Facilitating all Scrum ceremonies.
Supporting techniques for effective Product Backlog management.
Identifying, managing and helping mitigate project issues and risks.
Providing perspective to the team and keeping the team focused on the Sprint Goal.
Administration of JIRA Cloud software.
Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Track progress of projects.
Measure performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem solving.
Manage clear communication channels with the team to ensure effective communication.
Protecting the team from external interference and interruptions.
Have a Computer Science degree or equivalent.
Have at least 2 years’ experience in a Scrum Master role.
Have a Scrum Master certification.
Are known as a kind, approachable and wise influencer who can see the bigger picture and people seek your involvement, guidance and support.
Are passionate about keeping projects organized with clear lines of communication, while at the same time, nurturing continuous improvement with the support of data and metrics.
Have excellent communication skills.
Have solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
