We design and build complex and cool devices as well as develop the next generation of mobile and web digital health solutions. We are focused on empowering physicians with mobile health technologies and providing tools for dermatology and the early detection of skin cancer.

In this position, you will take on new initiatives to enhance and scale our infrastructure in a fast growing SaaS environment.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline
Minimum of a combined 4 years of application development and sysadmin experience
Must have experience with developing and operationalizing very high volume applications in distributed, highly scalable, high availability topologies
Experience with complex SaaS Production or critical web services environments
Experience working with AWS
Experience with MySql, MongoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch
Mandatory experience with one or more scripting languages: Shell, Python, etc.
Familiarity with profiling tools
Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalling
Understanding of Linux on the command line
Knowledge of containerization in AWS (AWS EKS, ECS)
Strong knowledge with Web Services, API Gateways and application integration development and design
Experience with environment monitoring in 24/7 web and REST API application environments
Availability for occasional on-call after-hours support
Initiate, plan, direct and implement complex cloud infrastructure solutions such as virtual private clouds (VPC), EC2 instances, S3 storage, load balancers and CloudWatch within Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Evolve the Cloud infrastructure, making improvements with a focus on high availability, scalability, security, and monitoring. Must be familiar with best practices in these areas.
Provide input to Development and Ops team members when new architectures, designs, or operational models are being formulated
Monitor the SaaS infrastructure and work with QA, Developers, Ops to identify and solve problems
Implement effective CI/CD processes and pipelines
Iterative analysis, modeling, testing, profiling of various components of the SaaS application
Responsible for providing technical expertise to other teams as you build specific expertise in the deployment and operational best practices specific to our application
Responding to and resolving technical emergencies
Documenting findings and recommendations for improvement
Maintaining and enhancing deployment scripts, tools, and methodologies
Making recommendations to, and interfacing with engineering to ensure 100% application uptime
Ensure the DR/failover mechanisms are in place and are working correctly
Ensuring efficient and scalable artifact deployments to production servers using automation scripts and other deployment tools
Work with other departments in the company to gather requirements and coordinate activities
