3D Computer Vision Engineer

Vancouver | Full-time

Candidates must be self-starters who can take a high-level idea and conduct research to determine the best approach that obtains a robust solution. Strong writing and presentation skills are required, you must be able to defend and explain design decisions to executives and industry experts.  As well you must be able to communicate technical ideas to people from non-technical backgrounds such as doctors and business/sales people. 


The position requires strong coding skills in Python and C++ as well as enthusiasm for AI.

Requirements

  • Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience

  • 3D Computer Vision (i.e. multi-view stereo) experience

  • Proficient in Python and visualization libraries (matplotlib, plotly, seaborn)

  • Experience using a deep learning framework (PyTorch, Keras, Tensorflow) and machine learning/scientific computing libraries (scikit-learn, scipy, numpy)

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-starter and self-motivated worker

  • Strong communication, documentation and presentation skills

  • Enjoys reading academic papers is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Machine Learning Scientist to determine topics to work on

  • Create, deploy, maintain and improve systems in a production environment

  • Document and present work to others
